These are a few of my favorite things...

This is where we call home...

I (Abby) grew up on 5 acres (which may not sound like much, but when that 5 acres is surrounded by nature, it feels like the world's largest play ground!). Brad, however, grew up on a 40 acre hobby farm. Both of us had always dreamt of owning our own piece of paradise some day... but that dream always seemed so un-attainable in our minds, so we never did anything about it. Something we have learned in our marriage & life together is that you can never dream too big & when you entrust a desire of your heart to the Lord you will be amazed at what He can do! Through prayer and lots of brainstorming, we decided in January of 2020 that we wanted to do whatever it took to one day be able to own our own land. We bought a 5th wheel (thinking we might be living in that for a few years), put our home up on the market, sold most of our possessions, lived in a beautiful State Park for the summer and then God did something big: He lead us to this beautiful piece of land we now call home. From our first steps onto that property, I had this gut feeling that this WAS IT. This was everything we had ever dreamed and prayed for, and it came with a little fixer upper farm home. What a gift and blessing. We are so excited to do life here and share with you as we go.
